Can you add a tiny home on your property? Find out here!

Want to know what type of tiny home or granny flat will fit on your property?  Use our handy site planning tool now to plan your minor dwelling using our standard plans.  Once you’re happy simply click on the ‘Enquire’ button and we’ll contact you with a full site plan, house plan, draft project pricing, and other details required to either start the PIM process with your local council and start budget planning with your bank or one of our finance partners.  The PIM (Property Information Memorandum) process is part of the new Granny Flat legislation.

The site planning tool is very straightforward to use:

  1. Enter your address into the search bar
  2. Select from one of Tiny Home HQ’s standard build plans*
  3. Move the building around your property, rotate it, and check the distances between the granny flat and your main house and the boundaries, and check whether the tiny home is over any underground pipes (blue and red lines).  Make sure the granny flat doesn’t turn red!
  4. Once you like what you see click the ‘Enquire’ button and we’ll be in touch with a full site plan, house plan, draft project pricing, and other details required to either start the PIM process with your local council and start budget planning with your bank or one of our finance partners.  The PIM (Property Information Memorandum) process is part of the new Granny Flat legislation.
  5. If you want to start the PIM application process make sure you’ve clicked ‘Enquire’ which will send us your information and we’ll be in touch to get the PIM process underway on your behalf

*the standard build plans are just to give you an idea of the space taken up on your property.  Once you’re happy with the site layout we can customise the building itself as part of the build process before you buy.
